Stephen McCann

Stephen started his recruitment career in 2005, working for Harvey Nash in London, a market-leading, global recruitment company. He specialised in Account Management for several large blue-chip organisations across all areas of Technology recruitment. It’s here that he developed his ability to establish long-term relationships and deliver a consistent service on a repeat basis.

In 2009 he moved to Dubai. After sampling different verticals, he refocused on the technology market across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. His key focus has been Enterprise Software, FinTech, and Digital.

In 2015 Stephen co-founded Insignia. Positioned as the recruitment partner of choice for a range of global technology brands to regional unicorns, Stephen delivered global searches in a range of countries from the US and Canada to China, Japan, and Australia.

In 2021, Insignia was acquired by ecap, an Executive Search firm and rebranded as ecap Digital. We are now part of the Monstarlab Group, a global Digital Experience Consultancy. Building on the expertise we have in the technology space we are now targeting global growth, focusing on all things digital.

Stephen studied Economics at University, loves to play golf, and is married with two children.
