Michael Van Rhyn

Michael comes from the roots of South Africa. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in human resource management. Michael has worked for some of the biggest local corporations as the likes of ADvTech resourcing back in South Africa and one of the largest outsourcing firms in the GCC he has been in IT Recruitment for the last 4 years.

Michael has always looked to move abroad but the UAE was not on his list, until someone approached him back in 2020 to come work in Dubai. And he hasn’t looked back since, “I mean it is one of the safest countries in the world what more do you want”. Coming from a third world country where unemployment is high Michael fell in love with recruitment to help others and taking the unemployed back to being employed. He recruited for companies in South Africa and the GCC and now expanding his horizons to 30+ countries worldwide.

Michael connects top IT professionals with some of the best IT organizations in the region, he strives to be the best at what he does. He has helped a lot of companies from small startups to big multi nationals. Mainly focusing on the Software Development life cycle.

In his spare time, he enjoys watching Formula one, traveling to all kinds of new destinations and most important to him is to spend time with family and friends.
